Let's Play Some Wii!

If you think you’re too old for video games, then you probably haven’t played Wii. And if you’ve played it and still aren’t sold, then you haven’t played it on a 120-inch screen.

Every Wednesday night, guests of The Beach Club can gather at Sand Island for a little Wii action. Wii tournaments are held from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m., and are excellent ways for families to spend their evenings together. (And playing Wii Sports is a good way to redeem yourself after a bad game of golf or tennis.)

Private Balconies

Whether enjoying a cup of coffee first thing in the morning, having a snack during lunch, or watching the sunset at the end of the day, lounging on a private balcony overlooking the Gulf really adds that extra touch of tranquility. Poolside Movies and Campfires

What do you get when you combine three popular family activities—swimming, movies, and campfires—into one event? You get The Beach Club’s Dive-In Movies and Campfires, one of many family-friendly activities that will be taking place at the resort throughout the summer.

Every Tuesday at 8 P.M., guests can gather at the Club Pool to watch a movie and enjoy a poolside campfire. Nothing can quite compare to watching a movie on a twelve-foot by nine-foot inflatable screen while floating lazily in a pool (or even just dangling your feet in the water if you don’t want to get completely wet)—not quite the typical movie theater!

The campfire is an excellent place for warming yourself or toasting s’mores for a mid-movie snack. The whole event makes for relaxing and sociable end-of-day entertainment.
